Great Job Max

Awesome job on the character animation! The story comes across clearly through the acting and not just the dialogue. I saw the other short someone said you got this idea from, and I must say they are extremely similar, but your version of the tale is much more interesting and fun to watch.

Again, great job Max!

this isn't so much a review

however I'll still leave a rating.

For those of you who are having problems with the DBZ sound, here is what you do. Close the flash window, reopen and try again. It wasn't the artist fault its a glitch in newgrounds ad API. It's been happening on other submissions as well.

CyanSandwich responds:

Well thankyou for letting everyone know this. I didn't even know about the glitch until now.

Pretty awesome guys

I particularly enjoyed the musical towards the end ;)

Great short

This was a really great and fluid animation. I loved that scene in the Pick of Destiny, especially the part where he was in the tree and it quicly flashed over from his trip to real life and he's singing, "the yeti is my papa and he wants to protect ME!"

Great times, and nice talent :)

Pretty funny

I'm pretty sure there was more frame by frame in this one short episode than there was in the entire DBZ series, lol.

Toy noise at the end

It sounded like either a phaser or the photon torpedo from old star trek next generation toys.

see here's the thing...

I'm not a stick fan, so I don't know why I continue to watch these regardless of that fact, but I think videos like this one are part of the reason. You have great background design, and the camera animations are a blast. The sound is top notch and really brings the who movie to life...

It's those damn stick figures that always keep me from giving out those 10's. I realize that there is a huge community of artist out there use stick figures and some consider that they're pushing the bar with their effects and fluidity. The thing I can't get my head around is if your gonna spend all the time on the camera animation and effects, why can't you just flesh out the characters a bit.

I don't know the debate continues....

Overall, great flash! I did enjoy myself....

in spite the fact you used sitcks :P

Very well done

The two things that stand out the strongest to me are the quality of the animation and graphics, and the music score. They are both done really well. However, I feel the music had to carry the scene in some cases. Like when Neenja was quick punching the ogre. Not alot of action goin on but the music was very intense and that created a sort of contradiciton.

I understand why some veiwers can get upset when someone nit-picks a movie to death, but lets face it, how else it the artist going to know what to improve on. Yeah some of the words can be harsh and even painful to read, but you gotta take it with a grain-o-salt.

Art is a continuing never ending education, and as artist we are constantly in a pursuit of perfection in our particular area of expertise. If you do not constant push yourself to improve, you can hardly be considered an artist.

Great job on the movie! Can't wait to see the improvements in the next one.

good material

Best VGJ4K yet. The material was funny and Mickey seemed to have a more likable 'dickish" personality in this one. Nice job
